Guest guest
I discussed the same topic today. I asked what do we do, should I be seeing a cardiologist, do we wait for symptoms and then do a catheter? How do we know when it worsens? His answer to me was repeating echocardiograms regularly and when indicated by them get a catheter, although if I get involved in transplant program, catheter and everything else imaginable to poke and prod will be done. From my question, I ended up with an echocardiogram scheduled for Monday morning. I guess his view was that catheter is the only way to measure the degree of PH, but echo is a good means of evaluating the need for more. > > > > > > > > > Hi all, I'm going to do a Gwynne style reply, or I might be here all > > > day. Guest guest
That's how I took it. That the echo will show that you have PH, but it won't show to what degree.
