Jon, These two drugs are the same drug, just generic and trade name. This is

a drug that is an injection to stop the pancreas from working at all. I know

about it because my GI was going to put me on it but my endocrinologist said

it wouldn't be good due to my diabetes. Others on the list have had it, some

successful, others not. The theory is that if the pancreas doesn't produce

enzymes, there won't be any pain. That theory doesn't always work, because

there are so many different reasons for pain.
