Guest guest
Kay, I am not feeling so great today. Walking Mitzi isn't helping, but hey, what can you do, right? I tried putting newspaper down, and she likes laying on it, but won't go on it, so I told my hubby that I think I'll lay paper everywhere and perhaps she won't go in the house! lol!! I feel like an unfit "mommy" today cause I just don't have it in me to do much with her today. My husband is sick since Monday and had him at the ER last night til late and I'm so beat. Thanks for always being there and please keep BJ in your prayers cause he's so sick. Can you walk Mitzi outside some or not?? Maybe frequent trips outside will help if that is possible. I know folks who train dogs to stay in a kennel all day while they are at work and they let them out as soon as they get home... We are both doing well and played hard this morning with a tennis ball, so baby is asleep right now, and so Mom has time to do some writing. Thanks for the support and any advise on housebreaking my baby would be appreciated! Will write more soon~Kay Simpson <Siwelyak@...> wrote: , Hope Mitzi brings you hours of joy. To my friends on this RA group, Yesterday, we adopted a beautiful 8 week old girl hound. She's a bit bigger than I'd originally planned, but He led us together and here we are! Thanks for the encouragement and support! Love, P.S. Oh, her name is Mitzi.shelly smiegal <shelsmieg2000@...> wrote: Harold, I am having trouble trying to get MTX. Is it a problem for you? I finally got it after a 2 week struggle.~Harold Van Tuyl <hvantuyl@...> wrote: I have also heard Methotrexate referred to as "the new gold standard" where this means the best available treatment and also a replacement for the former best treatment that actually used gold. I think many manufacturers stopped producing gold injections because of lack of demand. God bless. ----- Original Message ----- From: donbrndo@... I also used to get gold injections back in the late 60's and early 70's and I believe they are still being used but are very rare. Methatrexate has been replacing the old gold salt injections and as I understand it, the reason they call it "gold" injection is because a small amount of gold was actually used in the mix.
