I mix 4 oz of water and 4 oz of heavy whipping cream and the powder, sometimes I put in one packet of sweetener and shake. I have this most mornings for breakfast. Too much temptation, and with this terribly hot weather we all seem to be having, staying in and not doing much is not condusive to losing weight...The " refig " gives off alot of nice cold air! LOL...... Well, I'm so excited to tell you all I have lost 80lbs......I'm at 210 as of a few minutes ago....They say it's even less in the a.m. when you get up...I'm going to race into the bathrom and weigh myself tomorrow morning!...I have not weighed myself at home for over a month but went to the Dr.s about 2/1/2 weeks ago and was 223.......I have stopped eating the tomatoes with my lunch every day...I miss them tho.....I can't seem to just have a slice so I don't buy them...I have no will power, so if something is in the house that I shouldn't have, I will have it ...So, my refig is kinda bare and so are my cabinets, it seems the only way for me....I'm starting to do my 5 miles a day on the stationary bike again...I had stopped as I was having problems with my heart racing .....But I was under a great deal of stress so we are not sure if it was the exercise or the situation....My next goal weight is 186 as I remember I was this about 10 yrs. ago..I had to have surgery for a broken ankle and they weighed me......And I thought at that time that was a very high weight..Little did I know!...............But my ultimate goal weight is 130....It's been awhile since I've been there but it was a good comfortable weight for me.....Well thanx all for listening to me go on and on....Anybody going into the chat room later ?......judi Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Oh...someone had asked about the Chromin Picolate( I'm in the den so I don't know the correct spelling)......My daughter had gone to a nutritionist and he said to take it at the end of the day...So, I would not assume it causes problems with sleeping...I take it after dinner and I have no problem and the nutrtionest made a point to say it should be taken in the evening....Judi Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was wondering if anyone recommended a good protein shake that I could have in the mornings, getting a little burned out on eggs. I say Dr. Atkins shake mix, is that a good one, or does one of the others compare? Also can you take the protein shake during induction? No carbs so I'm guessing it is OK.
