Guest guest
We need an ombudsman to monitor our health profile, the treatment received, the current protocols and clinical trials, and our diet and life styles. This should be the role of the primary care physician. Regards, T This is my first post here. Had RP in June 2003. GS 8 (4,4). Salvage IMRT in November 2007. PSA rising to present level of 5.2 while on Proscar. Guess next is HT. Trying to postpone it as much as possible, Some tell me my "real" PSA is 10.4 as Proscar is giving false reading. I feel fine and not sure what to do. Thanks for your help.
Guest guest
Chuck, Where do you get the kind of AS you suggest? I have been to 2 top hospitals, and the testing (other than DRE and PSA) is not routinely done. Doug
Guest guest
Chuck, Thanks for the response. However, it's unrealistic to think that you can educate the doctor, and then convince him to do the tests. So does this mean that you cannot name one doctor in the entire USA who believes in this AS protocol? I regard you as an expert in PCa, and if you can't come up with one doctor who does this, thay much says it all. Thanks.
