Sorry looks back, Faith looks up. The DR told me I had sjogren on my last visit .He told me to buy some over the counter liquid tears . I really wasnt having trouble with itchy eyes until the last 2 days. I want to scratch them out of their socket. I brought some Walgreen brand tears but was wondering what everyone else is using . It is more epensive but I can tell the difference and the cheap brands make my eyes itch so much it it not worth saving the few extra cents. AND, eventhough everyone is probably sick of me saying it, I take EB oil capsules from Omega Nutrition. I take 3 a day and 6 if I am having a flareup. They have been my greatest lifesaver. As soon as I skip a day or two my eyes drive me crazy again. With them I have no problems. I carry water everywhere, even drink it in church. This disease destroys your teeth and gums. It is really painful to the salivatory glands. It is also a contributor to Pulmonary Fibrosis. The Eb capsules are easy on my tummy, no fishy after taste, they lowered my cholestrol by 30 points in just 3 months and my skin, eyes,mouth, and throat never feel dry anymore. The doctor told me to take 6 a day until my red eye symptoms went away and then to take three. You can only get them online through Omega Nutrition. They cost 15.00 for 120 or 25.00 for 250. Since I have been taking them I have noticed that several of the nutrition gurus, like patrick quillan recommend them also. I have noticed I get all over tooth aches, every tooth aches for about 1hr then nothing else the rest of the day. I hope you are feeling better . Thanks for the info.
