Guest guest Posted February 7, 2008 Report Share Posted February 7, 2008 My pulmo called me today and took me off of the Tussenix, (codiene) for cough and congestion, and I ASKED him to put me on something that isnt't so habit forming or a drug like codiene, so he told me to take " Robtussin DM " , so my daughter bought me a large bottle of it at Walmart today. $8.00 instead of $42.00 for the tussenix at the pharmacy. ridiculous I say!!!! I am so glad I don't have to pay $42.00 every 21 days for that codiene stuff. It is really hurtful to know that the medical field that we count on so much with this disease takes great advantage of us poor souls who need help with trying our best to stay alive and well and all they do is keep charging, keep charging, and keep charging.
