Anita,

I hope you wear a Medic Alert for your medicine allergy.

Hugs, Jacy

Thanks Harold for the site. I am going to check it out right after I post this. I go next Wednesday for my next dr. visit. I have no idea what he is going to do now. And what is it about dr.'s not reading your chart. Why do they even bother to ask us what we are allergic to if they are not going to pay attention to it? My ortho dr. gave me samples of an anti-inflammatory called mobic. Luckily it is only a small dose and when I started to take it I kept itching. So I looked it up and it says "do not take if you are allergic to aspirin". The last time I had a larger dose of an aspirin derivitive med. I ended up in the hospital for 3 days. With my ortho dr. on vacation this week there is no one else to change the med. It did not work anyway, though. Again thanks to all for your support. Anita

Hi Anita,

I used to take Mobic, but it stopped beign effective after a while. My GP put me on Refoxecib ( think that's the spelling) and I have felt better.

*hugs, Lynne
