Guest guest
I've been very busy today working on transportation issues to San , and updating my meds and medical history now that I have a whole new transplant clinic and doctor to add to the mix. I'm nearly cross-eyed at this point, and there were LOTS of posts today, so I'll try to catch up tomorrow. I need a secretary soooooo badly (or as Joyce says, a wife). :-) Zena, Hoping your day went swimmingly. One down, two to go! You were smart to take the things from home to make it all go more smoothly. Smart girl! Mama Sher, It's such good news that your procedure was brief and minimally painful. I'm also delighted that Lola's ear is finally on the mend. It's about time! Caro, I hate to hear that you've got pneumonia. Please, please be very good to yourself. Bruce, I don't like you having a fever one bit. If I had my way, I'd hope you do more than " monitor " the situation and call your doc. You're still in fragile condition right now. I worry that you won't get enough rest due to all your computer time - you will take care, right? We do worry.... , I'm thinking of you and the move and the soon-to-be arrival. Take care of you. Dawn, Dear one, I know how scary all this is for you. It is for all of us, especially in the beginning. Peggy's and Bruce's posts contained words of wisdom to you. Just keep asking questions, get plenty of rest, eat well, try to keep moving, equip yourself with knowledge so you can make informed decisions, be grateful for your blessings, appreciate friends and family, and thank God for every day. You are loved. Thanks so much to everyone for the love, care, and support you've offered to me since my trip to San . It's an emotional time of highs and lows, and I do feel blessed beyond words to have you guys as my cheerleaders!! Hugs and blessings, Gwynne IPF 7/04 listed for transplant 3/07 & 2/08 Texas
