Cool Guy. I've described him as an "arrogant little bugger, and I really like him". He's done the lavage with every bronch......like 6 or 7 times maybe. This is done at Providence in Anchorage. (which is a great facility BTW) They have a very clever method of billing for this procedure. They bill my insurance as if it were 2 separate procedures.....one for lavage and one for collecting samples, when in fact what he does is squirts in the saline then sucks it back up. Thankfully insurance pays both $1250.00 procedures. We're in the wrong business.......well, maybe not. Speaking of which, Friday the 15th is my last day, I'm retiring after 22 years.
