Cancer affects more than just the body. Patients and survivors oftentimes

face complex emotions or feelings of sadness, depression, or anxiety. The

Psychosocial Oncology Program at Dana Farber Cancer Institute works to

define patients and survivors concerns and develop individual treatment

plans aimed at helping them cope with emotional stress through all phases of

the cancer experience.

Dr. Peteet, a member of the Dana-Farber Psychosocial Oncology

Center, will be the guest speaker. Dr. Peteet works extensively with

prostate cancer patients and survivors.
