It’s been two years for me too and things can still be a bit unpredictable. No leaks for ages and then I get a bad one just getting up from sitting. Occasionally everything seems to want to explode at once. I was diagnoised and treated with radiation in 2002. I still get those kick in

the ass urges. Like you I have to go but I can't tell if it's going to be gas,

liquid or solid, maybe all three. This especially after sitting in a car for a

period of time. A bit dishartening after ten years but I've learned not to get

up unless I have a place to go. Thank Heaven for Seven Eleven they all have rest

rooms.

FWIW --

I had nasty bladder spasms immediately after surgery, until the Foley catheter

was removed.

My first prescription was for oxybutynin (I may have spelled that wrong). It

didn't help.

My second prescription was for opium + belladonna suppositories. Those little

beasties helped a lot.

If you haven't tried any drugs, oxybutynin might be worth experimenting with. I

wouldn't advise long-term use of opium.

Yes, I get that problem too. I don’t know if it was from the surgery, the post surgery radiation, or the new medications I am on. All of them will cause this. You can talk with your doctor about it but in the long run you may have to deal with a little bit of this and hopefully it will diminish over time.
