Guest guest
Hello group. I just underwent daVinci robotic surgery Monday Jan 16th, a week ago today. I did a followup visit to the surgeons office today to have my staples removed (ouch) and to get a report on some biopsys from lymph nodes and sphincter muscle. The lymph nodes were okay but the sphincter muscle had cancer cells present. The sphin muscle is located just below the apex of the prostate. He is not sure if he got it all out with the slicing he did to obtain the biospy or not so I have to wait 2 months for a PSA test to determine if there is any cancer cells present. Has anyone experienced this before? Any recommendations on what to do in the mean time, other than chewing fingernails?
