I confess to squirming in my seat as I watched her pulling out tumors. Alan
Guest guest
Last month on December 26th, I sent the URL of this presentation by Dr. Nguyen to Medical Oncologist Mark Scholz, President of the Prostate Cancer Research Institute (PCRI), recommending Dr. Nguyen be invited as a presentation speaker at a future annual PCRI Conference on Prostate Cancer. The woman is an outstanding speaker, very clear in her explanations, and noticeably extremely knowledgeable and with apparent total recall of what she has read, researched, and experienced as a surgeon. Perhaps if others of you do the same, he will be encouraged to do so. Chuck Always as close as the other end of your computer to help address any prostate cancer concerns. I have been a bit busy of late and may have missed some posts on what seems like something that could resulting an amazing change in the way surgeons identify tumours – and the nerves for nerve spraing surgery. The video is here http://www.ted.com/talks/quyen_nguyen_color_coded_surgery.html and what I found very useful was the Interactive Script down on the right hand side. This let me read the script raidly, identify the points of interest and start the video running from that point. The Yana man who led me to this link asked the rhetorical question – if this approach could highlight tumours, could it be used in connection with a superior form of scanning to really identify the size and spread of a disease even better than the color Doppler scan?
