Guest guest
Every now and then I have problems with some of the major e-mail players – more often Comcast than any other. As far as I can find out this is to do with changes to their Spam filter coding. The results can be very odd indeed and I notice them particularly when submissions of new stories or updates to the Yana site either fail to arrive or are delivered to my Spam Box. This usually happens over a holiday period and my guess is that it is down to two things. Firstly the traffic is very high at that time of the year and secondly there is a shortage of technicians as so many people are on holiday. I spent many ours one year trying to get to the bottom of it, but failed to do so – well not quite, but that’s a long and boring story. In due course it all settles down, but is a pain in the *rs* until it does.
