Guest guest
I didn't think I had seen a post on it here, but Bobby Bowden, former coach of the Florida State Seminoles Football team, announced that he is a prostate cancer survivor. He made the announcement in September in honor of prostate cancer awareness month. A few of years ago, he was told that he had prostate cancer. Because he was an active football coach at the time, he kept his diagnosis and treatment very quiet. He had radioactive seeds (brachytherapy) inplanted, and went on with his life. He didn't say anything at the time because he was afraid that other recruiters for other schools would use it against him and his own recruiting efforts. But now that he is retired, he is letting the world know. I just wanted to let you know. Lynn
