Guest guest
My kids couldn't handle any Lauricidin when we first started. We had to use Monolaurin for a year or two. They now tolerate Lauricidin and each get 1/2 scoop, 2x a day - but we did work up to that too. i am only giving my child one pellet and she is getting very very aggressive. is this die-off and how long does it last? any advice.i am also giving 5-culturelle
Guest guest
What's monolaurin and is it over the counter? Is it anti fungal? My kids couldn't handle any Lauricidin when we first started. Guest guest
We started ( a couple of years ago) with 3 pellets and our son developed a fever and was fluish for several days. I kept going at 3 pellets a day the full first week and at the end he was over the symptoms and looking much brighter. He worked up to 2 scoops per day for over a year and only saw positives from the very firsf week. Now he takes 600 mg ( 2 caps) of monolaurin because he is now on valtrex. He is 11 and weighs 67 lbs. I hope this helps! Sent from my iPhone
Guest guest
My understanding is that monolaurin is basically the same as Lauricidin - just not as strong. If I remember correctly 6 capsules of Monolaurin is the equivalent to 1/2 scoop of Lauricidin. My kids were on monolaurin before they swallowed pills so we'd open a capsule and give them just a small amount and worked up to more. I don't know why they could tolerate the monolaurin and not the Lauricidin, but that is how they ART tested. Monolaurin is over the counter - I don't remember which brand we used but if you google it, there are many options. Good luck. What's monolaurin and is it over the counter? Is it anti fungal? Guest guest
my girls got a vaginal yeast infection since being on lauricidin. she has never had one of these b4. I know this product is suppose to kill yeast, but can it also stir yeast up too? > > We started ( a couple of years ago) with 3 pellets and our son developed a fever and was fluish for several days.
