My friend's husband, who was diagnosed with Lyme a few years ago, had hip surgery a few weeks ago. He is in terrible post-op pain. The first medication worked okay, but since it contained Tylenol the doctors decided to stop it to avoid liver issues. The second medication is making him unbearably loopy AND hes' still in pain. Does anyone know of any alternative, drug-free approaches to managing the pain? They are going to see an acupuncturist (they've seen one before for previous issues and had success). I thought that perhaps homeopathy might be an option, but I'm not sure. When using homeopathy, does one have to be concerned with it interacting with other drugs? Thanks,
