Guest guest
March e-bulletin Dear Support Groups I hope you have all had a successful Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Please do feel free to let me know about any activities your groups have been involved in. I am happy to share the information with other support groups on your behalf if you wish to pass on your good ideas to others. The Charity has been busy in March, raising awareness about prostate cancer and encouraging people to support nd to feedback on our draft standards for quality care (including visits to Westminster and Holyrood by a number of our Charity’s supporters and volunteers, to encourage politicians to give their support). http://www.prostate-cancer.org.uk/get-involved/campaigning/our-campaigns/quality-care-everywhere There is still time for your support group members to get involved with this. See here for details: http://www.prostate-cancer.org.uk/get-involved/event/pcam/day-of-action I am also attaching our new reseach strategy for 2012-2020 which outlines our increased investment into research. I hope your members find it of interest. Our latest call for research proposals opens on 28th March 2012, so please do feel free to forward on the attachments to any contacts you have who may be interested in applying.
