Guest guest
Hi Heidi, I would suggest getting a grounding pad or grounding sheet that the child uses when using the ipad, this will drain the EMR and so your child can continue to benefit from the learning opportunities of it. eg. we have the sheets on all beds, and the pads at the computer so that when you are typing, the wrists rest on it. They are wonderful, na > > There is a lot of talk about Ipads to help those who are non-verbal. I wonder how much they effect the immune system, and if it's worth the trade-off. I am not referring to my own children because they are all verbal, but I am referring to other children, whose parents are not likely going to be able to afford and have access to biomed. I know some parents who can't even afford a computer. I have heard that some organizations are giving away free Ipads to special needs children, and I am wondering how much these items are going to adversely effect their immune systems. For me, I can't tolerate cell phones at all. I would hate to think of a child having his head near a cell-phone-type device for long periods. My husband says that Ipads can use either WiFi or cell-phone towers. So, if so, maybe WiFi is better than the cell-phone towers. I think I get more ill from cell-phones than WiFi. I am not technologically wise, so I am wondering what you all can tell me. Or, maybe you can recommend another type of device to help children learn to speak. I am thinking about a 4.5 year-old currently. > > Love and prayers, > > Heidi N >
Guest guest
This has been a concern of mine as well. I have an iPad and cannot use it for more than 5 minutes at a time . I can feel the EMF very strongly. Guest guest
Hi In response to ipad and WiFi as well as cell phones: We go to Dr. Wm Rea MD here in Dallas. He has the knowledge of how bad these things are for the neuro and immune systems. One of his colleagues is from Great Britain and he has come here with a film made of a woman seizing as she is driven past a large electric power tower. Dr. Rea tells his patients to locate dwellings at least one mile from these towers. We do not use cell phones unless away from home and in an emergency. Workers who carry these devices near abdominal area or lower risk getting cancer. We have "bundling" of tv, computer and telephone: the installation workers tried to put the electronic "satellite" appearing device near the PC but I could not get ANYWHERE near it without getting sick nauseous headache. My husband finally had to get them to install it inside a large cake tin with hole punched in for wires...and it is placed far away in the garage. The Whole Food Market where we shop, in fact all but one Whole Foods now, has got WiFi all over it, but especially in front of store. Their is cordoned area where laptops can be used without plug in and meals can be taken. I can hardly bear to stay in this area...once after I had spent time in it, I was checking out and chatting with a young Mom behind me in the line. Suddenly she told me: U are not making any sense...you can't drive home like that. I did feel dizzy and disoriented, and the store called my husband who had to drive up and collect me and the groceries. Later when I had recovered we went back to collect my vehicle. About vehicles, you need to watch them too as they now have so much electronics, to included DVD sets in back of seats like airplanes, and this can affect children and adults riding there. I get lots of books now from discount stores since and Noble and others have the ipad and stuff to sell right in front and many books online are now available only in electronic version, which I can't make sense of. There are books on this subject...later in the day if I think of some I will write them in. I feel the same as you on this subject: the children who can't speak would be hard put to say why they are feeling muddled or sick. They are better served by devices like the Lightwriter or the Spok 21 which have a keyboard formation like typewriter QWERT etc and which also offer word prediction and a synthetic voice, as well as display of what has been typed in both front and back of machine. Google in lightwriter and you can see this liquid crystal display...which enables persons to interact more effectively with child who is typing/speaking. Best Luck Cornelia In Europe in some countries children are forbidden the use of cell phones. USA is backward. ipads effecting the immune systemTo: <BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism >There is a lot of talk about Ipads to help those who are non-verbal. Guest guest
Hi That sounds wonderful and I have never heard of it. Where do you get a " grounding pad? Guest guest
The first thing we did when we got the IPad for my son is to disable the wireless connection. So all applications that we have on the IPad are downloaded and don't require wireless Internet connection to work. This way I don't feel any electromagnetic energy coming from it. Guest guest
We just saw Dr. Rea yesturday for my daughter who is 9 and suffers with lyme co-infections, static encephalopathy w/ autistic like features, inflammatory bowel/gut, brain, toxic body burden, etc. He is very knowledgable and want us to do labs of T & B Lymphocyte subset profile (CD3, CD4, CD8, CD19, NK Cells), IgG and subclasses. This is the actuall prescription, we cannot afford to pay for all of these and was wondering which one is the 'most' important to do right away? We have NO insurance and are broke right now! Guest guest
We are using the plug in device from lessemf.com. We just got it. Based upon our Zyto tests, we will likely have to install the kill switch, too. Although, one of the practitioners we see has a system for shielding which involves strategically buried HemaPro (a type of hematite I believe) around the perimeter of your home. I have one friend who did this and saw a beneficial difference. I just know that we are incredibly sensitive to the dirty electricity.Sent from my iPhone Pong Research is its formal listing on searchTo: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Sent: Wed, July 18, 2012 10:01:12 AMSubject: Re: ipads effecting the immune system Our doctor recommended grounding straps to sleep with as they are much less expensive than the grounding pads (like $8 instead of $169). Guest guest
It is very easy to disable the WiFi, there is an option for it and you just need to select it. When we need to download programs we enable it temporarily and as soon as it is completed we disable it again (because we don't have wireless in home we go to Starbucks cofee or any other place with wireless We have a device that measures if any electromagnetic waves are emitted and when we place it close to the IPad there is nothing showing, so I know this way the IPad is OK. I was actually surprised how bad are TiVo's - when we place the measuring device there it shows EMF off the charts, so we started disableing it also when we don't need it.
Guest guest
Regarding the haematite treatment, we disabled the geopathic grid from the ground under our home, had a guy come in with rods who worked it out, and we put a 50cm copper pipe into the ground at specific areas around the outside of the house, and it works. It releases the energy at either end, they have to match up, if you only put one rod per line in, it can makes things worse. I could sense where the grids were in the house, it meant ds or I couldn't sit in certain spots, one was at the kitchen sink so I always felt " wrong " there, and in most bedrooms they were affecting the beds, as they work at a distance of about 1 1/2m metres between them. They are all over the earth, it is " natural " but with all the other artificial energies around now, it was too much for us. The earth is constantly moving away from the present axis, I had it checked about a month ago, but is still within range of where the rods were put, so happy with that. Lori, we are now working on treating major worm/parasites in us, and I strongly feel that our electrical sensitivity issues have been severely exacerbated by them. Has your zyto indicated parasites to be a concern ??? Prior to getting these things done, I organised a bed for my ds made entirely from timber and he has a latex mattress (no springs) so nothing on the bed can conduct electricity from anywhere now. Then on top of that, he has his grounding sheet. THAT was when his sleep started to improve, and when parasites are out, we hope things are better again. na > > We are using the plug in device from lessemf.com. I just know that we are incredibly sensitive to the dirty electricity. > > Sent from my iPhone >
Guest guest
na The person who came out to do the work, is he form a particular company that specializes in this type of work? Could you give us more resources? Guest guest
I just bought the pong for my cell phone on amazon.com for about $60. I'd love to know more about the grounding straps. One thing our Dr. told us was that if you have a smart meter on your home, you want to be very careful with grounding devices on your bed. I'm going to ask her more when we have our next call, as we are about to get a smart meter. I've sent them away, but they will be back and will install it. They did initiallycharge us $75 to have it removed. Guest guest
I wish we could opt out but we are part of an electric coop, which isn't governed by the Public Utility Commission =
