Guest guest
I fell and had an abrasion on my ankle that cut the skin. It is taking about two weeks to heal, during which I applied on occasion a double antibiotic ointment, The skin got red and then the healing process formed a scab and the redness is shrinking and the scab is doing its job of restoring the skin. Will the regenerative process interfere with the recent proton beam thearapy treatment of the prostate cancer? Have I created a process that interferes with the treatment and permits the cancerous cells to survive? Regards T Poxon I'm not an expert but it is my understanding that the biochemical changes that occur in wound healing almost all take place at or near the site of the wound. I wouldn't think it would have any effect at all on your radiation treatment. Alan
