Guest guest
I highly suggest getting an LLMD on board who is familiar w Dr Shoemaker's work. There is alot to know and many are senstive to Cholestramine (CMS). We had a really bad experience w it - of course just as many have great experiences...Read Shoemakers books (Suviving Mold and Mold Warriors) and look at his website for info on the labs you need to have run first: www.survivingmold.com Depending on your lab results and the ERMI mold test (google it and you will find info on Mycometrics Lab) you will need to run in your home- you may be put on a no amylose diet by your LLMD (we recently were put on this diet). We just had our crawl space lined and now we will run the ERMI test in a couple of weeks to see what our levels are. Hopefully once we get the labs back we can try CSM again w success this time. If you are currently being exposed to mold - I beleive you are not supossed to take CSM. Let me know if you need more info- feel free to PM me- To: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Sent: Fri, June 8, 2012 8:17:33 AMSubject: Re: Mold Chelation We had a mold issue which prevented our son from progressing. To get the mold out of his system our LLMD suggested Cholesteramine (a prescription). It's a binder and pulls toxins out. I can give you more info if you want.Elaine> > > Just had a massive mold remediation in our house. Now that the mold is out of our house how do I go about getting it out of us? Especially for my son? Guest guest
Our LLMD in CA did labs and found matthew extremly sensitive to molds, dust, chemicals, etc...but I dont' think there was a test to see if he is currently exposed to mold. Everyone is exposed to some extent of course but she and I never discussed that. We we're told to use thieves to diffuse and clean as much as possible, get HEPPA filter, kill as much mold as possilble of course like with extreme hot water for the washing machine (allergen cycle), etc....but we started cholestyromine and it has worked wonders. Now at first, it was a really bad herx, vomiting, constipation so we had to cut the dosage WAY DOWN. BUt it has worked extremely well even on psychosis. He is so much better, not violent, not psychotic. Oh and you give oxypowder for the constipation. I never leave home without it. Also the PEMF device has gotten rid of his pain and I believe the limu and Asea that was recommended by dr has also helped a lot. I think chole, is really worth the effort and patience required if you can give it a really good try, deb Re: Mold Chelation We had a mold issue which prevented our son from progressing.
