Guest guest
Oh, is that what is responsible for all this respiratory junk that seems so virulent? Pertussis? My kiddo has been "off" for weeks with brain symptoms. Well, with a uncooperative recent ex-spouse and me, a single-mom homeschooling and new to very regulated state, I'm keeping my mouth shut! I rock the boat in too many categories, you never know who is really on the other end of the phone. (gosh, I'm sounding a little paranoid, huh? boy, I wonder how I got that way? Roseann Re: Interesting call from the FDA Its usually the CDC who calls, this is the first time I have heard FDA calling. Maybe in regards to the out break over Pertussis is spurring this on? Actually what the CDC has discovered is many Peds offices are not keeping vaccines at the correct temp. in the frig or freezer. So lots of spoiled vaccines. Guest guest
thank heidi, i declined. i never answer phone surveys and this was no exception. you're right, remembering those studies from my psych 101 days. Roseann Re: Interesting call from the FDA By law, people have a right to know about the study they are in, so ask lots of questions. The only things that can be kept from them is stuff that has to be kept from them in order to not influence the results. For example, if you are doing on study on smiling when asked a question, the person can't say, "I'm doing a study on smiling upon asked a question" because that would influence whether or not the person smiles. But. . . .a person can say that it's a study on people's reactions to questions. Anyhow, I say all this to say that you do have the right to decline being in research, and you do have a right to know general information about the study. Love and prayers, Heidi N I just received a call from someone taking a research study on vaccination rates for the FDA. Wanting to talk to the person responsible for any child in the homes vaccination. anyone else receive a call like this?
