Guest guest
I am very impressed with your doctor. Can you tell which labs/tests he/she used? Was your son treated for bacterial infections before the testing. (This is done sometimes to boost the immune system to get more accurate test results.) The high rate of inaccurate lab tests is a very strong reason we have this epidemic. So, we need to keep mindful of which labs and tests are showing results. For the Helicobactor Pylori, I got quick, successful results from cinnamon, but it had to be a lot. I had to put a large heaping teaspoon/tablespoon (I can't remember which) in milk and did this once a day for 3 days. I took capsules, but it didn't seem to work. Maybe, I didn't take enough of them or maybe the Helicobactor Pylori lives too high in the stomach for the pills to dissolve quick enough to come into contact with the germ. Sprinkling extra on food didn't seem to work either. I think taking a teaspoon of dry cinnamon is a chocking hazard, because of the way it feels when you try taking a good amount of it in your mouth. So, I wouldn't do that. I also did this on myself, not a child. Just saying, I did this cinnamon thing about 6 years ago, and I haven't had an ulcer pain since. I still get stomach pains, but not the ulcer pains. If you Google, you can learn about Helicobactor Pylori and the location in the abdomen of where this pain occurs. Love and prayers, Heidi N Hi Everyone, Thank you for approving my membership to the group. My son is 7,6 years old and has a dx of Aspergers. We recently had him tested for bacterial infections and below are the results, Mycoplasma Antibodies IgM Quantatative - High M. pneumoniae IgM - Equivocal M pneumoniae IgG - Positive Borrelia Antibodies Western Blot IgM - Positive Western Blot IgG - Negative Helicobacter Pylori Antibodies IgG - High / Positive Does the IgM positive for Borrelia mean he has lymes? I am feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment and any input would be so appreciated. We have tried so many interventions the last 3 years with no success, however, we have never considered bacterial infections as a cause for his problems. Thanks so much. Guest guest
Years ago my son H. Pylori and I gave him Mastic Gum, Probiotics, Olive oil, and raw cabbage juice ( mind you not all at the same time). I gave the Mastic Gum to my son for about 4 months, several times a day. Here is some info on Cabbage - Vitamin U - also known as MSM - is found in raw cabbage. In fact, vitamin U is not actually a vitamin at all. Cabbage juice has been studied extensively in Russia and other Eastern European countries for the healing of damaged and eroded intestinal mucosa. It is not actually a vitamin per se. It appears to enhance the healing of damaged tissue and may assist in healing ulcers. BTW: What has the DR told you regarding your son's lab work? Have you been to see a LLMD? I just want to offer hope that many of your son's issues can and will improve, and could be that he won't have Aspergers after treatment. Lots of the children with Lyme/ Mycoplasma, metal toxcins, etc. Improve and their diagnoses improve, some no longer have the label. Your son is young and has time on his side. Guest guest
Thank you to all of you that replied. For the first time in four years I have real HOPE for a better future. We are from Johannesburg, South Africa so the lab tests were done at Lancet, however, the doctor claims they are accurate. I do not know which bands were positive but will ask at our next consultation. He has never been treated for bacterial infections of immune boosters. There is no LLMD doctor in SA as a result Lymes / Mycoplasma are under diagnosed, I suspect due to lack of awareness. The doctor we are working with is a surgeon from Belgium (practicing in SA) who is an expert in CFS and intracellular organisms. We have started treatment and have just today completed the first 7 day course of antibiotics (tetracycline). I have been going through the LLMD files and my son’s symptoms really do fit the clinical picture of Lyme’s and Mycoplasma. We also did a SPECT scan in the USA last year which was abnormal. Of interest was severe temporal lobe under perfusion and pre-frontal cortex hyper perfusion, which is where the symptoms of the so-called Aspergers and ADD are routed. I will treat the H.Pylori as suggested below, but this will probably be an easy one in comparison to the rest of the picture. I will ask questions as I go and inform of our progress.
