Subject: Any good books on depression?

I have a family member that is suffering from depression and fatigue and I want to help him with bio medical treatments, mainly reducing pathogens and reducing inflammation. I have many books on more complex illnesses, but none on the lesser symptoms, like depression. It is too much of a stretch for this person to understand that all illness is related and has similar root causatives. Is anyone aware of a book that would make this clear or otherwise would focus on pain and depression? I want to reach him without scaring him with my witch doctoring. LOL!Thanks.Caryn
