Guest guest
My son was bitten by a tick on his head and 9 days later has a red bump on his stomach with redness extending several inches. He said I itch. I've put cocunut oil on it and he's been on cats claw within hours of removing the tick who was prob only attached for a few hours and was never engorged. Tick wasn't easy to remove - the lifeguards and EMT gave up and I was the one who did it. Took him and tick to urgent care and all has been well until rash. He seeks fine except reduced appetite lately but he's been known to do this before. He had a vaccine regression at 19 mos and has lasting speeh and other delays. Would you get the western blot or another blood test or is it to early? I also started him on OLE today and upped his vit c and other immune enhancing supplements. Thank you for your thoughts. Guest guest
Oh and I should add the redness lasted 2 days and now the little bump is all that remains and it's fading, no itching. Hampton Sent from my iPhone
Guest guest
According to what you will find when Googling, reported by mainstream, is that typically, it takes around 4 weeks to develop antibodies to show up in testing. But, the Lyme Literate experts typically say to not take any chances, to get treatment right away by a Lyme Literate expert. But. . . . if your child has Lyme already, and some experts say that it's likely a great majority are carriers, testing might show the infection. But, keep in mind that most Lyme literate docs will say that there is a high lack of reliability in Lyme testing.
