Guest guest
Hi Kim, this is just a thought, and just because I have been there, but what about if you diffused lavendar or a pleasurable scent for your dd, through one of those essential oil diffusers? I remember reading some research where exposing a person/child to a pleasurable scent was stopping seizures. I always wondered if it would stop my daughters aggressions due to chemical exposure or viral encephalopathy. Kind of acting as a disrupter, shifting the brains direction ( you know how you can sometimes stop a meltdown if you catch it early enough but once it gains steam there is no stopping it until it comes to it's own completion) Another thought that came to mind was using a propolis vaporizer if you believe mold is present. I know that doesn't answer your question, but I sympathize. Let us know if you find something. Roseann OT - Car seat for aggressive child - X Post Hi All; Please excuse the cross post. If there is anyone who has found a solution to travelling in a van/car with an aggressive child, please contact me. My dd is almost 10 years old and can be extremely aggressive during transport (attacks driver and passengers). I would love feedback on any type of 5 point harness or car seat option for larger children that successfully prevents the child from reaching the driver. I do not have the cash for extensive vehicle modification. Yes, we are following special diets, biomed/homeopathy etc. Thanks, Kim ------------------------------------
