Well, friends, now that “the word” has been promulgated by the Prostate Cancer Research Institute (PCRI) in Los Angeles, I can “pass the word” that I was nominated by Wichita Us TOO Prostate Cancer Education and Support Chapter member Judge Larry Hollis and selected by a PCRI committee, as one of two recipients this year of the “Harry Pinchot Award” and will be traveling to Los Angeles next week to receive this presitgious award.  Please review below the award information and other events that will occur during the “Gala Dinner” at this year’s annual PCRI Conference on Prostate Cancer.  You can imagine that I am both thrilled and humbled by this selection.

Chuck,

I tried to send my congratulations last night, but my email system was messing up for some reason, so I'll send them today. As others have said, richly deserved. Between you and Terry (and several others on this site), many men have been given amazing amounts of information and comfort after diagnosis. Thank you.

Mike

Chuck, after knowing you as a (internet) friend and constant consultant in my battle with prostate cancer over the past six years, I can only wonder why it took so long for you to recognized. You are my constant "the glass is half-full" reminder. Congratulations for a well deserved recognition of your devotion to the fight against prostate cancer and the caring work you do every single day.
