took first dose of mtx...no problems yet

I took my first dose of MTX last night. 7.5mg. I drank lots of water, (which

of course got me up in the middle of the night <g>). A little queasy this

morning, but that could just be because I'm hungry. I am very releived. I will

take it easy today, though.

You all don't realize how comforting it is to know there is someone out there

who has been through all this that I can talk to and ask questions. I have

always been healthy as a horse and this has been a major, life changing event

for me. At the same time I am humbled by those of you who have been dealing

with this for years and are so much worse than I am. It's the old " I had no

shoes and complained until I met a man who had no feet. " You people make it

pretty hard for me to feel sorry for myself, and that is good. Thank you for

being there.
