MICROBAN IS ALSO IN DAP SILICONE, sold everywhere, WHICH MANY OF US HAVE BEEN USING TO SEAL THE CREVICES IN OUR HOMES FROM BUGS, DUST, MOLD, ETC. USERS BEWARE! WHAT CAN WE DO WHEN WE HAVE ALREADY APPLIED IT??? --OR WHEN OUR HOMES COME PRESEALED WITH IT? Thanks for this; please let there be a nontoxic remedy to cover that which is already applied. great info heidi!!! My daughter gets headaches from being down the dish drain aisle at target, etc. all those things are coated with Microban. And I do remember seeing it on little kids scissor handles...ugh! I think it was a new washer I was looking for a while back and I couldn't find anything without Microban. You now see it everywhere! figured it was bad, now I know why. Roseann Pesticides in schools supplies (scissors, lunch bags, pencils) I bought some lunch bags and brought them home, and then cut off the tags and noticed one tag saying, "Microban" keeps germs from growing. So I Googled Microban and found out it has Triclosan which I have seen researchers report could be a contributor to autism and other disorders where demyelination is a factor. Also, I read that Microban can not be removed from products since it's woven in by using bacteria and viruses, which sounds a lot like GMO. Anyhow, I was upset to see that this product was in school supplies like scissors and pencils. So, I had to look hard for products that didn't have the "Microban" seal on them. I buy organic foods, so I am not about to have my children eating their food out of pesticide-laden lunch bags or using pesticide-laden school supplies. So, sharing to keep everyone informed.

Want to add that while Googling about Microban, I read that it's safe since it's been used for years. I used to have that kind of thinking, that things that have been around for years must be safe since the news isn't reporting people dying from it. My new thinking is that the news media is not the place to get information on what is safe, and that products cause symptoms to develop slowly, so it's not noticed the damage they are doing. We don't have 40% of the population getting cancer because the the products we are using are safe. We get it because most believed to be safe products don't cause immediate, strong symptoms -- until one is ill that is. Once we do get our chronic conditions, than we do often have immediate, strong symptoms. Love and prayers,

Heidi N
