Guest guest
Roseann-- Do you have any info on what the K-MAF is doing for your daughter? Thanks! Heidi, I always appreciate your advice as you do seem to be very similar to my daughter with autism ( very chemically sensitve, tons of food allergies, terrible at fighting virus', subject to lots of inflammation and environmental factors ( ie. places, people, weather, you know the drill) I will look into the African Mango and Nigella Sativa. We are using Immusist and K-MAF, as well as Neem Synergy and Propolis. Roseann Re: irrational behaviors with mepron---is this ok? Every herbal immune booster I have used has given me great results. You don't really have total high immunity; you only have parts of the immune system high. So, whenever you have some parts of the immune system high, you will have some parts low. The Th1/Th2 balance is a good explanation as to this. My immune system over-reacts to chemicals and under-reacts to intracellular pathogens, which is actually what is typically reported amongst the autism community. This is why people display food allergies, but not enough to kill pathogens. Some people say to be worried about immune boosters and only take immune modulators, but they both make me feel better. My current favorites for the immune system are bee products (pollen, propolis), African Mango, and my new favorite is Nigella Sativa, often referred to as Black Seed. (Note: other herbs may also be called Black Seed, but are a different herb.) Taking African Mango and Nigella Sativa together is much more effective for me than taking them separate. See what you health care practitioner says about immune system options. Love and prayers, Heidi N How do you support a kid who is HYPER immune? He has normal IgG's. IgE's are high. Immune modulators? We are scared to make it worse......but their has to be a reason why this happens every time.
