Guest guest
Hi It is so good you got off the junk food and wheat that is a great start. For me I was doing no gluten but still eating carbs and eating lots of salads and still was not feeling good. I ended up unrelated at 43 having a stroke and my husband and I had spoken about doing no carbs and doing more of a primal diet before all the health issue. I was in really bad shape and the doctors thought it would take me 3 years to recover...well a few months later I had an aneurysm which I had surgery this past Jan and now I am fully recovered except for some weakness in my left leg. My husband and I switched to Bee's diet also did the supplements and I know it was the key in jump starting my body to heal. I know its much to take in. also if you can grow your own herbs and veggies even if its just a few things it will help you. At first it seems so costly but you really are not so hungry and the celtic salt, Kerry Gold Butter and magnesium for us were key, My husband lost 25-30 pounds and he was able to stop taking one of his meds. I also dropped about 20-25 pounds. This group is so supportive and we really care about one another. Would it be fine to just clean eat and take Shakeology 2 weeks then get on Bee? I feel so stuck and at a loss as part of me wants to start the Bee now and another wants to wait until after pregnancy(I'm afraid becaues of how delicate+healing reactions) I'm so sick!! Even though I ate horrible junk daily like mcdonalds(used to work there)and mostly wheat and processed stuff...Do some people get on the Bee after eating like that and in poor health? I'm not sure how uncommon it is to eat horrible junk all the time knowing you have really bad digestive problems... Anyway,I'm not sure the effects of Shakeology on me now but when I first took it for a few months it seemed to work ok,now I think maybe I'm not getting anything out of it. I'm still waiting on my debit card code to order supplements :/ Group, don't lose your card it really holds you up!! Guest guest
its great that you are walking and its okay when you can not do it You know your body and sometimes its good to push and sometimes we just need quite time and rest. ( I like to watch funny old movies when my body is hurting and ice myself) Do you have access to a pool swimming is great and you dont have to do a sport like swim you can just swim around and its great for us. I always feel better after a swim and I like a warm pool or ocean when we are luckily enough to go some where with a warm ocean. That is wonderful you are pregnant! Are you here in the states? I am in Northern California near San Francisco. It was scary what I went through but mostly for my family at first I was in a coma and then I could not remember day to day. It was like lifting heavy weights in my head in order to speak. I was very scared that I was not going to get my brain back but I did and I am not afraid to die. When I was dying I saw a warm light and palm trees...I told the doctors I thought I was in Maui.... Life is precious and we have to make the most of our days. I make sure I surround myself with positive people and dont spend time with others who are negative. It puts things into perspective. I have always tried not to do things I dont want to but know if I know its going to be drama or too much I just say sorry I cant because of my head. I would rather spend time in my backyard gardening watching the birds and playing with my cats and being with my family. The diet will help you and you will notice each day a small difference. Make sure to stay away from the sugar, gluten and carbs. I also love coconut water and coconut oil- You can get the oil pretty cheapy at Trader joes. You can cook with it and use it on your skin as a lotion and for healing. I use it to take my make off this last year and even though I had so many health issues all my friends say I look ten years younger. The longer you stay away from carbs the less you will crave. Do not cheat. it sends you right back. Just dont keep them in your house. I find that helps a great deal and its better for everyone in your house. You can also try coconut milk which you can also find at Trader Joes and it lasts longer than reg milk. I found out I was sensitive to cows milk but I still do the Kerry Gold butter with no side effects. The cows are grass fed and the butter tastes so much better than regular better. Feel free to come to the group with anything its a very smart group and feel free to vent as well. I'm 24 almost 25. I took fiber supplements heavily daily for years. I've also been on a few prescriptions but haven't taken any in years. The one I took a few years was birth control. I have all my organs and never broke a bone.symptoms that I have have been going on daily for years with not 1 day I didn't have them. I'm currently pregnant-1st pregnancy. Im like 17 weeks , I've just started moving-going for walks at night. Even though I'm not working I have days I dont even do chores. I'm pushing myself to get a walk in everyday.
