Guest guest
My questions are primarily in response to the info Joanne provided (thank you!) but pertain to dietary approaches in general. I have studied these diet plans before. They make sense and I'm convinced that they do work. But how does a really sick person eat like that? I need something that is realistic and manageable. I am quite ill, single and isolated. I am completely bedridden with pain at least 2 days every week. Other days I have trouble getting around. Cooking/food preparation is not very feasible in my condition. And I do not have any friends that could help me, nor can I afford to hire help (anymore). The reality is that right now all I can physically manage are meals that take like 5 minutes to make. Typical meals for me are an apple with peanut butter or a bowl of yogurt & granola. Sometimes I simply don't eat because it hurts too much to move. Are there any lists of NOT RECIPES but throw together/grab and go meals? I bought a cast iron pan but can't lift the darn thing! And I can only stand up for 5 minutes at a time. I have to sit down waiting for a steak to cook in the pan. What are my options for following one of these diet plans? Also, on Bee's site she talks about time to heal, and that the START is after you're doing everything, including not taking drugs. Well, I tried going off my meds once to follow a holistic healing modality and it was a friggin nightmare. I also recently went off my antidepressant because it was expensive (lost insurance) and I wasn't sure I needed it anymore (been on same med for almost 10 years). Worse nightmare. So I'm not giving up my meds any time soon. But if the meds intefere with healing, what do you do? Seems like a catch-22 to me. I assume there are articles on how to safely wean off meds (with doctor's care of course)? I also assume you don't even try until you've been on the nutritional program for a long time. So how do you know when you're ready to try weaning (again, working with your doctor). Regarding Electomagnetism (EM), unfortunately I live right next to a power substation. It's a brick building, which helps some. Just the other day I came across a product called Comfort Technology. It's a clock radio that's supposed to help counteract EMF. Anyone have any experience with this particular product? I've been researching EMF at the website http://www.emwatch.com/. I don't have a ton of money to spend so looking for affordable solutions. Thanks everyone.
