Guest guest
Judy  Some folk love an argument and this article here was definately written by such a person.  I have a naughty side too.  As you will recall I lived the nightmare called fibro for over 20 years with the humiliation 'it is all in your head' talk whilst in the meantime they loaded me up with drugs and told me to work harder at sticking to their low fat diet and so on  Anyway, nowadays I am not so willing to curl up in a ball as I once was and no longer willing to spend hours and hours with my head in my hands saying what can I do they are accusing me of making this up. And so when I meet one of these people now, I quickly turn around to them and say, but I do not have Fibromyalgia, Dr Snowdon told me I do not have it. LOL You want to see their faces when the table is turned. I say to them somebody made it up and said I had it and now you are persecuting me telling me I have an illness I do not have. You want to see them fumbling around trying to figure out what to do about it. I then say is there such an illness? Did you make that up as well? Are you just making stuff up around here, telling folk they have illnesses they do not have.  I know, I know this is tight!!!! But I tell you when you turn the tables on these idiots you no longer have to spend another second on there game playing. Because that is what all this is, one big game!!!! These folk are getting a kick out of bullying poorly people, well they aint gonna even get a chance to bully me. I tell you, ever since I have been like this with them, I get the red carpet treatment now. There is absolutly nobody within that NHS that wants to spend their time tormenting me now, and if anybody wants to volunteer I am happy to make sure they change their mond swiftly  These folk are not every intelligent, not as intelligent as me anyway. Seems I do not need much in the way of therapy nowadays either LOL  Love Joanne To: LDNforFibro <LDNforFibro >; Fibromyalgia Support Group <Fibromyalgia_Support_Group >; fibromyalgiacured Sent: Monday, 3 September 2012, 18:44 Subject: OT-RLS in the news  This is sort of Off Topic, but I know a lot of people with Fibromyalgia also suffer from RLS-Restless Legs Syndrome. The RLS community is in an uproar today about a columnist writing an article about it being an invented disease. Hmm, sounds like something that could also be written about Fibromyalgia. Anyway, here is the URL if you’re interested in reading it: http://www.northjersey.com/news/health/other_health/168039346_Restless__wonderin\ g__Is_there_a_pill_for_that__.html Actually, I enjoyed reading the comments more than the article. Can you imagine the comments that would be made if someone said this about Fibromyalgia. I’d hate to be the author of this article is all I can say.
