Guest guest
Tina  In Ayurverdic medicne they recommend these pipes that help us to inhale sea salt. I have a friend that uses one of these and swears by it. I myself have not used one recently, since mucus was not a problem for me, but I did use something similar many years ago when I have bronchitis and it helped  http://www.saltinhalers.co.uk/  I have noticed that most people on this board and the other boards I go on, that have mucus trouble seem to do better when they remove dairy from their diet, even the raw dairy. But as they get better i think they can usually later reintroduce it. Some I, know now adding it, are like me, avoiding the A1 dairy and only eatinf the A2 and raw, but this is after a period of time with no dairy at all  Soz, I cannot tell you more, mucus is not much of a problem for me nowadays. It is a detox symptom for many people, but some how I have avoided it. I was worse when I smoked, I think giving up the cigarettes made the biggest difference for me with this, but I am thinking if you are not smoking this info is not really relavent, appart from that it does illustrate that mucus is the result of the body clearing toxicity  Hope this helps  Love Joanne  To: fibromyalgiacured Sent: Monday, 3 September 2012, 13:55 Subject: Asthma  This is another thing I deal with.Bad when ragweed season hits.My biggest problem is I seem to produce a lot of mucus that clogs up my airways, and I can`t get it to break up.I know, many foods help produce mucus, and I have not been doing well, sticking to a diet, but, last night,i couldn`t find my inhaler and thought I was going to be sitting up all night.I did end up finding it.For years I used the over the counter Primatine mist. That has been pulled off the shelves. The prescription, ones don`t seem to work as well. The advair works good, but,I can`t afford it.That is another problem for me eating meat, besides the fact that I don`t think I can digest it,it makes me produce a lot of mucus.Other foods like grains, dairy, chocolate, fried foods,I think,do the same.I did get some colostrum,to see if that would help.I think,I need to go off all these foods,to see if it helps.I`m not a big vegitable lover.I like meat,it just doens`t like me.Nothing is going to work, unless I stop eating foods that make me produce a lot of mucus. Then there is my airborn allergies.I do think the Gemmotherapy is helping with my airborn allergies. Not helping the asthma yet, but,i need to try harder with my diet.
