Guest guest
Tina  I do know for certain that bees ratios on fat, protein and carbs are correct, and I do now do all I can to meet them daily, except the carbs of course, but it may be that I will always have to eat these low. But in the early days, I could not tune into this ratio thing because it was all too much for my fogged up brain and also, no matter how much I tried to stick to it I ended up over eating. I still had the binge eating mentality. I was doing really well cutting back in the carbs, but I was mooching about, longing for something tasty, if you get my meaning. So although doing well in some aspects I was still messing things up because I had habits that were somewhat hard to concur, and I had pain, emotional and physical that were relieved when I ate food, mainly carbs, but any food would do, I wanted food LOL  I also wanted to be thinner and healthier so things were not exactly working out. I was slowly getting to where I needed to be, but 'me' I was getting in my way, and I had no idea what to do about it  Anyway, this took me months to sort out but the way I did it was to not measure my food as such but instead at each meal, 'think' mainly fat, some meat fish poultry or eggs, and barely any carbs. Every meal was made up in this manner but not as strict as Bee was asking, not at first, I could not do it that strict, not straight off  I instead used McKennas way. His was sit down at the table when eating and eat very slow. Eat so slow and consciously that you feel your stomach say, I am full. This in itself took me a long time, and I did need to use his CDs too, but after some time using s techniques, my desires to binge on the so called yummy scrummy carbs, went away, and in time my need to have plenty to eat at each meal went and eventually simply eating small meals that had correct ratios became the norm for me and now I can do it easily  I know, I really do know Bee is right with her ratios, and I know they do bring about better healing which is why I follow them to the letter now, but this was all too hard in the early days. My problems with food were many and using s techniques served me better, in the early days. In his book and on his CDs has other techniques that have helped me a great deal to give up the many many foods that I could not at one time even imagine surrendering. Bee covers some of this, ie she suggests we have plenty of Vitamin C, because this stops carb craving and she advises very high fat, because that does suppress appetite, but for me the stuff recommends helped me more. s stuff also helped me give up smoking and to sleep much better too, and also my mood is much better when I listed to his CDs. But his stuff can be expensive, I tend to look out for his stuff on Ebay and Amazon and just buy one thing here and there when they are on offer.  There may be other self help folk that do the same thing as , I suspect there will be I just do not know who. Here in england they have s books and CDs available at the library for free, I dont know if this is so in the USA. If I come across any links that show what I am doing with all this I will post them, but really to date, I have not found anything on the Internet that explains this well  Anyway, hope this is of use  Love Joanne To: fibromyalgiacured Sent: Monday, 3 September 2012, 17:51 Subject: Re: Asthma/Tina  You are probably right,i`m clearing toxitity.Maybe to fast.I am looking at ayurevedic medicine.I ordered some guggul. My friend said it took away her appitite.i`m hoping it does that for me.The less i eat,the better. > > Tina >  > In Ayurverdic medicne they recommend these pipes that help us to inhale sea salt. I have a friend that uses one of these and swears by it. I myself have not used one recently, since mucus was not a problem for me, but I did use something similar many years ago when I have bronchitis and it helped >  > http://www.saltinhalers.co.uk/ >  > I have noticed that most people on this board and the other boards I go on, that have mucus trouble seem to do better when they remove dairy from their diet, even the raw dairy. But as they get better i think they can usually later reintroduce it. Some I, know now adding it, are like me, avoiding the A1 dairy and only eatinf the A2 and raw, but this is after a period of time with no dairy at all >  > Soz, I cannot tell you more, mucus is not much of a problem for me nowadays. It is a detox symptom for many people, but some how I have avoided it. I was worse when I smoked, I think giving up the cigarettes made the biggest difference for me with this, but I am thinking if you are not smoking this info is not really relavent, appart from that it does illustrate that mucus is the result of the body clearing toxicity >  > Hope this helps >  > Love Joanne >  > > > To: mailto:fibromyalgiacured%40yahoogroups.com > Sent: Monday, 3 September 2012, 13:55 > Subject: Asthma > > >  > This is another thing I deal with.Bad when ragweed season hits.My biggest problem is I seem to produce a lot of mucus that clogs up my airways, and I can`t get it to break up.I know, many foods help produce mucus, and I have not been doing well, sticking to a diet, but, last night,i couldn`t find my inhaler and thought I was going to be sitting up all night.I did end up finding it.For years I used the over the counter Primatine mist. That has been pulled off the shelves. The prescription, ones don`t seem to work as well. The advair works good, but,I can`t afford it.That is another problem for me eating meat, besides the fact that I don`t think I can digest it,it makes me produce a lot of mucus.Other foods like grains, dairy, chocolate, fried foods,I think,do the same.I did get some colostrum,to see if that would help.I think,I need to go off all these foods,to see if it helps.I`m not a big vegitable lover.I like meat,it just doens`t like me.Nothing is going to > work, unless I stop eating foods that make me produce a lot of mucus. Then there is my airborn allergies.I do think the Gemmotherapy is helping with my airborn allergies. Not helping the asthma yet, but,i need to try harder with my diet. > > > > >
