Is that something that I can so myself, or would we need to work out the logistics? Adrienne >> Hi Adrienne, I am pleased that you want to start a local chapter of the Pancreatitis Support Network. It is slow getting started. The work is worth it, though. I will be glad to help you. The first things to do is to talk to your doctors at the Hospital that you go to. Tell them about the support group you want to start. Their support will benefit you a great deal. I am still trying to find a way to fund the printing of the Pancreatitis Support Network brochure. It will look similar to the one for the symposium, but more specific about the Network. Additionally, I need funds to print more business cards. The number one marketing tool are the brochure and business cards. My plans are to make the brochures generic enough that each individual chapter can use them. The brochures will cost ~ $600.00 The business card plate is already made. It won't take much to be tailored for the contact person for each local chapter. The business cards will cost ~$50.00 I know that the funds will be raised and we will see this happen. The most important thing is that you believe it in your heart. In your prayers just pray that His will, not ours, be done. Hugs, Karyn KarynWms@...
