I think this is an excellent article dealing with the subject of what to say and when http://hubpages.com/hub/Cancer-Etiquette The most irritating aspect for me is the assumption that I am 'cancer free' just because I look so healthy. So remarks like – “You're over your cancer now then?” - or even more annoying – “Do you really think it was cancer?” are inclined to put a bit of a burr under my saddle.
