Good luck Ralph. Some day hopefully they can get a full cohort of 1700 volunteers or so to get the definitive data . Meanwhile let's pray it works for you. Regards, T I'am right behind you , I arrived at Boston 4AM 8/31-- had my appointment for 2PM the same day. Wanted to get to Boston earlier on the 30th so we could hook up, but with the storm (we had no power for days) there was too much going on, our paths will eventually meet through the corse of this trial. Sorry to hear of your bone scan results with increased areas, that's got to be a real kick in the head...hopefully the Cabo will do what we are both going to Boston for. No side effects to report from me either, I am a day behind , but everyone is different, time will tell. Ralpie..... My blood work, and CT scan from August 2nd were as expected; PSA 440, CT showed swollen lymph nodes in lower abdomen. Bothwere known beforehand. The bone scan showed A LOT of new areas, it was a little frightening. I knew, I could feel all of this happeningover the weeks leading up to the scan but to see it on the monitor was a little shocking. (details at my blog is you want more) Tuesday night and Wednesday I was exhausted, it was probably more from the 18 hour day than it was from the medication. I left my house at4:40am and returned home at 10:45pm. Today I was less fatigued overall. Initially, I haven't notice any side effects, but it has only been 48 hours. Side effect most commonly seen are:- increased fatigue- mild diarrhea- callous like sores on hands and feet I'll check in from time to time with updates, or check my blog, or email if I forget to update and your curious. - Emersonwww.flhw.orgEvery 2.25 minutes a man is diagnosed with prostate cancer.Every 16.5 minutes a man dies from the disease.
