Guest guest
Just curious of those of you taking either Bextra or Celebrex, are you continuing to take it? There have been studies that say they also heighten the possibility of heart attack and stroke, but to a much lesser degree than Vioxx. I haven't called my doctor yet - I'm afraid of what he might say!! I take Bextra and the one time I had to go off of it, I was definitely worse off. gloria

He gave me a prescription for 200 mg and said that I could take it twice a day, as I am trying to taper off of Prednisone and am having a lot of pain in my left foot when I step down. (Consequently, I don't walk for fun) I am not giving up my Celebrex. Nope. Becky
Guest guest
I just checked with my rheumy and the office said that they were only given instructions to stop the Vioxx, not Celebrex or Bextra. I guess that will hold until the next report comes out. gloria
