Dear

Glad your surgery's been a success and hospital so comfortable. Hope

I'm not being presumptuous - I noticed that you offered to query Mr

Treacy for Marie. Could you possibly ask a question for me?

I'm about to go on Mr Treacy's waiting list for NHS consultation. I'm

really nervous about having to wait a long time because my hip's

deteriorating so fast. I'd like to use crutches all the time, but

that doesn't really work when chasing my very active 13 month old son

around. There's no cartilage left in my joint and I have

a 'massive'(quote local OS) cyst on the femoral head. My fear is that

by the time I get to surgery, the joint may be too destroyed for

resurf. Could you possibly ask Mr Treacy if waiting is likely make

the joint inoperable. A bank loan and private care may be looming!

Thanks - and good luck with the physio.

Dear Chris

Thanks so much for talking to Mr Treacy for me. You've made my day! I

already have a copy of the X-Ray, so work will just have to be

postponed for a bit while I compose my letter to .
