I live in Costa Rica, so I don't think you want to telephone, but my email address is maricris@.... I didn't ask Dr. de Smet whether he uses staples or stitches - what did he use on you? Incidentally, there was a recent post from someone saying he was coming to Costa Rica soon - sorry I don't remember who posted, but if I can help you out at all just let me know.
