Guest guest
Hi , My ANA was also borderline. I feel the same way you do. Sometimes after reading some of the member's stories, I feel guilty for complaining. I guess I'm pretty lucky; I haven't been seriously ill yet. But still.... Feel better. Oh, by the way, with all the hives and scabs and stretch marks on my body, I don't think I'd notice another red mark. Rhea Labs and remissions Dear Rhea:Thanks for your response and I'm sorry to hear how much you have beenthrough. I know I should be grateful to be in remission, but I stillcan't get it out of my mind how sick I was and the fear of when the hiveswill return. It was such a shock to me because I had been such a healthyperson all my life. I realize a lot of people on this site have had amuch more difficult time than I have had, being on so many differentmedications, etc. I guess some cases of urticaria and vasculitis can go hand in hand. Iwas never told to consider a skin biopsy, though will be willing to whenthe hives return. I've heard of someone taking the drug cyclosporin forher vasculitis, and she would get so sick from it. There really isn't apermanent treatment for vasculitis, is there? Also, just wondered if youever get marks on your skin from crossing your legs? I get a large redmark that stays there quite a while before fading, and I don't everrecall being like that before the hives occurred. Just odd sensationsin my skin and things like that red mark on my leg are all reminders thatsomething is still lurking inside me. My ANA was only borderlinepositive at 1:40 on both occasions, though it's now negative.Sorry to talk so much about myself, but I feel a bit better again. I vowto take a break from all the medical books and self-diagnosing for awhile...sigh. Too much knowledge can be a dangerous thing in my case! Thanks for listening, and I hope you are managing okay.________________________________________________________________YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET!Juno now offers FREE Internet Access!Try it today - there's no risk!
