No, I'm not saying that as I don't know what your situation is or

what your doctor is doing.

However, what I am saying is with today's technology that is

possible.

I'm saying that in discussions with my Opthalmologist, prior to IPF,

he was stating that when my cataracts reached the point for surgery

they would be able to use the intraocular implant to improve my

vision to the best its been in 45 or 50 years if not to glasses free.

I wear extremely thick glasses and even with correction,although

technically I'm seeing 20/20 or 20/30 things are so reduced that I

don't see well. And, that is at least partially correctible with

intraocular.

For those without cataracts who want to get rid of glasses it is the

preferred means over lasik for those over 50 and probably those over

40. It is believed by some it will ultimately replace lasik

altogether but thats a minority belief at this time.
