Guest guest
How is the pregnancy going anyway? I read you post about your return trip from Iowa. Yuck. I felt nauseated with my preg. but never did lose it. I had moms that were not pregnant that wouldn't give up the shoes/ bar because of sentimental reasons. So your doing really great to be able to mail them off. We go back to Iowa on Aug. 7th. I imagine that we'll get new shoes then. I don't know if Dr. Herzenberg is planning another trip for 2001, however even if he is not I would think that he could spend them to the physical therapist that he is working with down there. Ivy I hope will be crawling by then.... She is now 11mo. and still not rolling or crawling. She scoots on her rear end, and when on her tummy uses her arms to scoot backwards. and I are both concerned about gross motor development. We really thought she would be crawling by now. If Ivy didn't have the foot and hip issues I don't thing it would be bothering us so much.... It is late and I need to go to bed. You have a good nights sleep too (while you still can. }) Sara and Ivy 8/17/99 www.clubfoot.net'

Guest guest
Sara, Don't worry too much. Jakob didn't start crawling until he was 11 months old. Maybe you can think of some type of game to play with her to get her to move. One thing I did with Jakob to encourage rolling was to kind of shake him side to side and make him " push " back over. Crawling just happened when he was ready. Sara Masoner wrote: > How is the pregnancy going anyway? I read you post about your return > trip > from Iowa. Yuck. Guest guest
Sara, Thanks for asking! I was doing good the last couple of days, but I lost it before I went to bed last night. Ugh. I've been going on walks, and those have seemed to help me feel better overall. Taking 2 hour naps with Rose has been a blessing, too! I understand your concern about Ivy not crawling, but I think made a good point. I hope Ivy starts crawling soon! Maybe the whole family will have to start getting on all fours to encourage her (if you haven't done that already). I'm looking forward to meeting the parents and children in September. That will be neat that it's your 10 year anniversary. Last year, my parents and I came to Iowa for Rose's 2nd Ponseti cast and tenotomy on Mom and Dad's 25th and Neil's and my 2nd anniversaries! I can't believe that an entire year has almost gone by since we started treatment with Dr. Ponseti. I can't wait to see the scrapbook, and I hope it is all coming together easily for you! I really want to get started on a scrapbook for Rose, and I know I should do it before this second one is born! Take care. Guest guest
I am concidering making a color photo copy of the pages of those that are not able to attend the picnic, but contributed. That way they can see what was done with their pictures. Sara and Ivy 8/17/99 www.clubfoot.net Re: Shoes for Dr Herzenburg/Joy > Sara, > Thanks for asking!
