Drug Trial - on it but will I even notice...

Had some rather disappointing news today concerning the drug trial I am on.

It is called STAMPEDE and is intended to look at the effects of taking

zoledronic acid, celecoxib and docataxel alongside the conventional hormone

therapy that everyone will be on regardless. Some will be taking all 3 drugs,

some just 2 some just 1.

Me - I guess I'm in the control group because I won't be taking any.

I will certainly be looking a lot more closely at Complementary approaches; by

way of which, I wonder if anyone on the group has any experience or knowledge of

the Chinese medicinal mushrooms, espec. Maitake (Grifola Frondosa) and Reishi

(Ganoderma Lucidium).
