Guest guest
I thought this was an excellent article, as many on the subject of cancer are in the New York Times. Reading the last line of the article: <snip>Centuries after the discovery of cancer as a disease, we are learning not just how to treat it — but what cancer truly is. <snip> brought to mind Rumsfeld's oft quoted statement " The message is that there are known knowns - there are things that we know that we know. There are known unknowns - that is to say, there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns - there are things we do not know we don't know. And each year we discover a few more of those unknown unknowns. " He was mocked for that, but how true it is.
