Guest guest
I took Arava for a year. It worked well and then just stopped working one day. I did not like the fact that this drug stays in your body for a very long time and is toxic if you should become pregnant. So those planning on having children male and female need to really consider other options before starting this drug. There is a method that is suppose to purge the druge from your body...but I think I was told Arava stays in your body for 2 yrs after you stop it. Don't quote me on that one. Not that I plan to have anymore children, but you never can tell....so I was glad when my doc stopped it. I m trying to taper off my prednisolone dose to minimal dose, hopefully i wud be able to do it within the next few weeks.I feel so great even thou i ve been doing a 15 mins walk every morning and evening, and i dun feel any pain after the walk like I used to have before I m taking arava. Guest guest
I took Arava for 2 months and it did not seem to have an effect on the arthritis, though that is a short time. However I lost 10 pounds - the weight just vanished - and the doctor told me to stop. Annette > > I took Arava for a year. It worked well and then just stopped working one > day.
