Guest guest
Angie, I am going back to Saudi as that is where I work. I have been working for a Saudi family as nanny/English teacher for 18 years (I still find this difficult to believe myself, the original contract was one year!) I became extremely attached to the children so every time I considered leaving I couldn't!! Now they are grown up and we are good friends and they need someone to help them organise their lives. They have a house here in California and we travel a lot, which I enjoy even though it gets pretty stressful sometimes. They are very supportive and pay for all my medical treatment, so I consider myself very lucky. Really they are like my own family. I take a six week vacation every year, which seems harder work than " work " , if you see what I mean, I have a sister with Downs syndrome who also now has Alzheimers, and she doesn't remember who we are, which is sad, but she called me Mummy last time I visited her; every time I feel sorry for myself I think of her and I know I'm the lucky one. Also her carers are wonderful people, so it's one less thing to worry about. I also have a brother, with two children, also two wonderful great nephews, 2yrs and 4 yrs. So I have family all over the world, and now I have you guys as well!!Well, thats enough about me, you are all in my prayers, Love Liz __________________________________________________
