Guest guest
Dear Gang, We may be a lot of things but we certainly don't lead boring lives. Joyce and both describe life threatening scenarios that have my heart in my throat just thinking abut them, Bruce ends up in the ER, Peggy gets the "warning if any body part swells after taking this drug contact your doctor immediately" symptoms, and the rest of us have various home and health problems! We have certainly started this year with a bang!!!! I vote that the rest of January be a little more sedate and mundane and that everyone stays healthy and breathing fine. Sarcoid/PF 3/2006 California Re: Oh when an old man parties so hard he has to take a day off Bruce, I'm so sorry that you had to visit the big house. Even a visit is ghastly. Ask your doc about keeping Levaquin (or another ab) on hand for when the infection starts. My doc gives me a script for a year at a time and lets me make the decision. He tells me that I am smart enough to know when I am sick.....and I am. Pneumonia left untreated even a short time can be devastating. We do not need new scar tissue. You are so smart to act quickly. It is so easy to dismiss pain and feeling ill. Be well.
